Many varieties of fresh apples are grown in Montacute, South Australia. Well known for its early start to apple season, apples are available fresh from tree from March – May. Varieties include Gala, Royal Gala, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Fuji, Pink Lady and Sundowner.
